Couldn't load pickup availability
For vehicle trips, this adjustable tether is listed with a nylon strap, swivel clip, and buckle attachment. The product information describes connecting it to a vehicle buckle and using the clip with a pet harness. Confirm that the buckle matches your car and that the tether works with the harness you use.
Check the connection points
Before a trip, inspect the clip, strap, and buckle connection. The listing does not provide crash-test certification or a tested protection rating, so it should not be described as crash-tested or as guaranteeing injury prevention.
Use with a harness
Attach the tether to a properly fitted harness according to the product directions. Do not attach it to a collar. Compatibility depends on both your vehicle’s buckle and the harness attachment point.
Retire worn equipment
Check for fraying, damaged clips, or a buckle that does not engage securely. Stop using the tether if any component is worn or damaged, and follow the vehicle and harness manufacturers’ guidance.
