What's the difference between "Low configuration version" and "Smart version"?
Low configuration has one steady laser mode you turn on and off by hand. Smart version adds a second light pattern plus an automatic 15-minute on / roughly 1.5-hour off timer, so you can leave it running without watching the clock or worrying about the battery.
Is it safe to leave on my cat unsupervised?
Short supervised sessions are always safest, especially at first so you can see how your cat reacts to the band and the light. The Smart version's auto-off timer limits continuous laser use if you do step away, but we'd still recommend checking in periodically rather than leaving it on for hours unattended.
Is the laser safe for my cat's eyes?
As with any laser toy, avoid letting the beam point directly into your cat's eyes. Because it's worn on the neck rather than aimed by hand, the beam is naturally cast outward and downward rather than at eye level, but it's still good practice to supervise play.
How long does the battery last?
